Assignment to BRIDGESTONE/FIRESTONE, Albany, NY
Position Description: Shuttle Runs- Evening Shuttle runs from Albany yard to the Bridgestone-Firestone Distribution Center in Breinigsville, PA. This is a Sunday-Thursday job, normally. New tractors are from Ryder with 48’ and 53’ van trailers. Orientation time is paid.
Note: Smoking is not allowed in any of the Bridgestone-Firestone vehicles.
Pay summary: This position averages weekly pay from $1000 +.
Insurance: Medical - BC/BS PPO plan or HSA Plan. Insurance is effective on the next 1st of the month following 60 days of assignment. Employees may opt for different insurance deductibles at their cost.
Dental, disability and life insurance also included.
401K: Available following 1 month of service.
Holidays: 10 per year, eligible following 30 days regular assignment.
Vacation: Preceding year’s W2 divided by # weeks worked; paid on anniversary date of assignment.
1 week after 1 year of service
2 weeks after 2 years of service
3 weeks after 5 years of service
4 weeks after 15 years of service
Funeral Leave pay: 2 days pay@ 8 x hourly rate
