Assignment to BRIDGESTONE/FIRESTONE, Allentown, PA
Position Description: Peddle Runs- Local delivery of tires and automotive parts throughout the mid-Atlantic area, based at the Bridgestone-Firestone Distribution Center in Breinigsville, PA. This is a Monday-Friday job, normally. There are some overnight runs, but most drivers are home each night. Deliveries include some to the NYC and Long Island area. New tractors are from Ryder with 48’ and 53’ van trailers. Driver must be able to physically unload tires with from 4-10 stops per day as an average. Orientation time is paid.
Note: Smoking is not allowed in any of the Bridgestone-Firestone vehicles.
Pay summary: This position averages weekly pay ranging from $1000 to $1500.
Mileage rates: Peddle single mileage rate - $.4125 per mile
Hourly rates: Local- $18.50/hr; Over-the-road - $15.50/hr
Pickup/delivery pay: $15.00 per occasion
Drop and hook: $8.00 per occurrence.
Fuel stop: $6.00 per fuel stop
Insurance: Medical - BC/BS PPO plan or HSA Plan.
Dental, disability and life insurance also included.
401K: Available following 1 month of service.
