Job Description
Assignment to our client, Terminal Transportation Services.
Position Description: Local delivery for Terminal customers products throughout the MD, VA, DC, and other close-by areas pulling containers, vans and flatbeds. This is normally a Monday-Friday job based at in the Dundalk Marine Terminal in Baltimore and is a regular full time position. Work includes selecting and checking out chassis and containers in the Port of Baltimore. Most deliveries do not include unloading, although drivers need to be prepared to adjust loads and assist in unloading on occasion. Drivers operate full service leased day cab tractors and van trailers, including some flat bed units. The flatbeds are used to haul lumber, primarily.
Pay summary: This position averages weekly pay ranging from $800 to $1100+.
Pay is by trip rate with add-ons for unusual delays. Hourly pay is for vacations, holidays and other non trip related pay.
Insurance: Medical - BC/BS PPO plan or HSA plan.
Life insurance also included.
401K: Available following 1 month of service with matching program.
Employees may add on dental, vision, disability and other coverages, also.
Holidays: 9 per year @ 8 times the hourly rate per eligible holiday.
Vacation: Paid @ 40 times the appropriate hourly rate, paid on anniversary date of assignment.
1 week after 1 year of service
2 weeks after 3 years of service
3 weeks after 10 years of service
4 weeks after 15 years of service
